Mission

The Foundation aims to help the Hungarian Socialist Party to effectively participate in shaping and expressing the will of the Hungarian people, a right provided by the country’s constitution. We strive to offer high-quality information and analysis on current social and political issues and are devoted to raising awareness of social democratic values: democracy, humanism, secularity, respect for human rights and the rule of Law. We strive to actively strengthen democracy and improve the country’s political culture, encouraging engagement and especially the ability for individual interest enforcement. We are strongly committed to equal opportunities, solidarity, and preserving the identity and augmenting the influence of national and ethnic minorities. We help articulate national interests offering timely, relevant and implementable policy solutions in a changing global environment, focusing on tasks related to Hungary’s membership in the European Union.
